Patient Testimonial
Dr. Shah helped complete our family and answer our prayers. After his medical attention and direction, we now have a beautiful and healthy little boy.

Dr. Romanski filled us with so much hope when we needed it the most. Him and his team are absolutely amazing and hands on. I have never felt more cared for at a practice before. Highly recommend him for any fertility needs.

Dr. Barnard was wonderful to work with! I appreciated her care, patience, support, and calming demeanor. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. While this process can be very intimidating and overwhelming, I felt better knowing that I had her on my side.

I began my own egg-freezing journey as an OB/GYN resident. Looking back 10 years later, now 38 years old, engaged, and ready to start my own family, I’m relieved to have frozen my eggs. At the same time, I feel obligated to give back and address the toll that surgical training has on women.

I have only wonderful things to say about Dr. Gay and his staff at the Alpharetta location. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional… I could not have asked for better care.

Q&A

I was inspired to become a doctor by an incredible surgeon who took care of me after a traumatic incident when I broke my arm as a child. His bedside manner and confidence to take care of me made me absolutely positive that I wanted to be a physician and have that same impact on others. I was only 7 years old at the time and I’m not sure how much a 7-year-old knows what they want to do for the rest of their life, but I remained focused on that goal, and I’ve never regretted my decision to become a physician.

I loved all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology, but during residency, I was mentored by an amazing physician who exposed me to reproductive endocrinology. After that, I knew for sure that this was the specialty for me. The field of reproductive endocrinology encompassed everything I sought to include: patient care, procedures, research, surgery, and the rapidly evolving technological and research advancements. More importantly, though, I had a connection with these patients that was far more valuable than any other experience I’ve had in medicine. The relationship with my patients and the ability to have such a profound impact on their lives and their families is the greatest reward I could ever hope for as a physician.

I understand the emotional and physical tolls that this process can take. I want my patients to know that I will be right by their side every step of the way as this is a journey we’ll make together. I cannot promise that things will be easy or will go exactly as planned, but we will get through this together. I remain committed to my patients through this rollercoaster experience.

I’m inspired by so many of our military’s active-duty service members with whom I’ve had the opportunity to work with and care for over the past 20 years. These individuals have committed to a cause much greater than themselves and made sacrifices so that others may benefit. They inspire me to strive for that same selfless commitment to help others.

I would describe myself as calm, reserved, and even keeled. I have never sought to be the center of attention. I would always prefer to interact one-on-one as opposed to a large group, which is why I value the individual connections and relationships I can make with patients and their families.

Listening to music and playing piano feels calming, refreshing, and allows me to reset. Photography helps me pay more attention to my surroundings and allows me to appreciate beauty all around us. I enjoy running, hiking, cycling, and exercising to help me keep balance in my life.

I love spending time with my family and escaping the craziness of the bustling city. On any weekend you will likely find me cheering on my daughters at a swim meet, a soccer game, a basketball game, or sometimes all 3. I also love sneaking away for a peaceful hike at one of the local parks.
