Biography

Jeanne E. O’Brien, M.D., received her medical degree from the Brown-Dartmouth Medical Program in Providence, RI, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Prentice Women’s Hospital at Northwestern University in Chicago. In the 3 years following residency, Dr. O’Brien remained at Northwestern as a clinical instructor. She then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Northwestern University and earned a master of science in clinical investigation. Dr. O’Brien is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

First listen to the individual, then make sure the patient understands how determined we are to help them achieve a family. The shared goal of achieving a successful pregnancy often requires more than one treatment cycle. It is a process that requires skill, mutual trust, and persistence. How you convey the knowledge and treatment plan are just as important as the information.
