Patient Testimonial
Dr. Shah helped complete our family and answer our prayers. After his medical attention and direction, we now have a beautiful and healthy little boy.

Dr. Romanski filled us with so much hope when we needed it the most. Him and his team are absolutely amazing and hands on. I have never felt more cared for at a practice before. Highly recommend him for any fertility needs.

Dr. Barnard was wonderful to work with! I appreciated her care, patience, support, and calming demeanor. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. While this process can be very intimidating and overwhelming, I felt better knowing that I had her on my side.

I began my own egg-freezing journey as an OB/GYN resident. Looking back 10 years later, now 38 years old, engaged, and ready to start my own family, I’m relieved to have frozen my eggs. At the same time, I feel obligated to give back and address the toll that surgical training has on women.

SGF in Alpharetta is fantastic. The office is beautiful and brand new. The office and clinical staff are friendly, they make you feel comfortable and they are very accommodating. I have never had to wait long for my appointment.

I have only wonderful things to say about Dr. Gay and his staff at the Alpharetta location. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional… I could not have asked for better care.

Q&A

I went to nursing school as a non-traditional student, after having three children. My primary reason for earning my BSN was so that I could become a certified nurse-midwife (CNM). After working in labor and delivery for a few years, I realized that I preferred to sleep at night, so I knew that becoming a CNM wasn’t in the cards for me. I made the move to a fertility clinic, and the physician I worked with had just completed his residency and it was his first solo practice. I fell in love with the knowledge that I gained during my first years as an REI RN, but more importantly, I truly treasured the relationships with my patients that I had the opportunity to gain! Over the past 18 years, I have been back and forth between L&D and REI, and once I completed my MSN, my primary focus was REI. What has always brought me back to REI is still the relationships I have. I’ve almost completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice and cannot wait to engage as a leader in REI.

My two most favorite hobbies include long-distance running and I’ve got a macaron baking business! I thrive on the detail and the concentration needed for both, just as I love the adrenaline rush of completing a marathon or the smile on someone’s face when they’ve tasted my pastries!

I tend to be a very reserved person, many people think that I’m shy or introverted, but the complete opposite is true! I protect my “circle,” but if you’re in it, you’ll see just how transparent I really am!
