Discount programs
Our top priority at Shady Grove Fertility is to clear the obstacles our patients face when trying to start a family. We feel that by reducing or eliminating the financial stress of fertility treatment, our patients have a better overall experience and outcome.
The good news is that many individuals and couples do have infertility benefits to cover the initial consultation and diagnostic testing and may also have coverage for fertility treatment including intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). For patients without insurance benefits for treatment, we offer a variety of options.
Multi-Cycle Discount for IVF
Shady Grove Fertility’s Multi-Cycle Discount Program for IVF offers patients up to two fresh in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles, and subsequent frozen embryo transfers (FETs), for one flat fee. By prepaying for multiple IVF cycles, the Multi-Cycle Discount Program provides in excess of a 40 percent discount over our traditional fee-for-service program.
Included services:
- Two fresh IVF cycles, including all medical and laboratory fees
- Cryopreservation
- Unlimited frozen embryo transfers (FETs) with embryos from these two cycles, if needed
- All routine cycle monitoring including blood work and ultrasounds
Patients should speak with their financial counselor for more details on the Multi-Cycle Discount Program for IVF.
Shared Help Discount Program
The Shared Help Discount Program allows patients to obtain a discount on fertility treatment based on their gross income and lack of insurance, or insurance coverage for fertility treatment. Shared Help provides a 5% or 15% discount on fertility treatment, based on gross annual income for the patient and partner, if applicable, and requires pre-approval. Shared Help is an income-based program that offers a discount on most treatment and procedures performed at SGF.

- Patients are uninsured, denied coverage, or lack insurance benefits for treatment
- Discount is based on annual gross income for both partners (as applicable) regardless of marital status or living arrangements
Inclusions / Exclusions:

- Discounts may not be applied to consultations, diagnostic testing, outside services, medications, supplemental fees or riders, or other discounted treatment programs such as Multi-Cycle Discount Program for IVF or Shared Risk 100% Refund Program

Treatment discounts for U.S. Veterans with service-related injuries
In July 2021, the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) announced its partnership with US Fertility to drive awareness of discounted fertility treatments for veterans with service-related injuries to help them grow their families. For 5 years, the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s Veterans In-Vitro InitiAtive (VIVA) has complemented fertility treatment services provided by the government to ensure military service does not preclude veterans from growing their families. This partnership with US Fertility is a natural extension of BWF’s work to help veterans with service-connected injuries to grow their families.
US Fertility is proud to support a network-wide discount of 25% on services for our veterans with service-related injuries affecting their fertility, complementing fertility care provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Through their VIVA program, the Bob Woodruff Foundation acts as a necessary adjunct to services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by assisting couples who are not eligible for this set program. For example, the inclusive eligibility criteria that BWF offers includes funding for the use of donor sperm, eggs and surrogates, more flexibility in regard to the nature of the service-related wound or injury, or the applicant’s age, as well as a quicker application process. The Bob Woodruff Foundation provides up to $5,000 to eligible veterans, most of whom are ineligible for the VA-funded program.
